Zambia is to supply the Reroy Group of Companies, the leading producer of electric cables in the country, with copper to increase its production capacity.
This was disclosed when the acting Zambian High Commissioner to Ghana, Mr Mwansa Rolland, visited the offices and factory of the company at Tema.
He was accompanied by his wife and the First Secretary of the Zambia Embassy in charge of administration, Mr Fidelis Chinsenga.
Mr Rolland said his country was endowed with copper and their visit was to strengthen the bilateral relations existing between the two countries.
He said this would go a long way to help Reroy expand its current production capacity.
Mr Rolland further stated that Reroy was an international brand in Africa with innovative ways of doing things.

The Managing Director of the company, Mrs Kate Quartey-Papafio, said the visit was a special one in the company’s history.
She said the copper would help Reroy to expand its scope of infrastructure and production capacity to help improve the energy needs of the country.
It would also create more employment opportunities for the youth, she added.
