Pernod Ricard rewards employees

Pernod Ricard, the world’s number two biggest Spirits and Wines beverage company, has rewarded its employees with a trip to the home of Jameson in Ireland and France.

The travel experience was designed to reward deserving Pernod Ricard staff members from 13 countries in the sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) region for their excellent sales performance.

The all-expense paid trip was intended to foster and instil Pernod Ricard’s culture in every employee. It also sought to help employees  to familiarise themselves with the birthplace of Pernod Ricard and the home of Jameson.

The employees shared exciting experiences in Cork, where they attended Jameson connects, an experiential event that combines food, music and the Bond and Connect activities, among others.

They were also taken through an educational talk by the global Jameson brand ambassador, as well as Ger Buckley, the Master Cooper (the person who sources, repairs and maintains all Jameson barrels).

Commenting on the trip, the Corporate Relations Manager, Ms Eunice Osei-Tutu, said: “We are happy to have given our staff  this thrilling experience in the home of Jameson in Ireland.

As a business, one of our key focus areas is to give our employees the best experience, as well as appreciate their contribution to the organisation as a whole”.

“The culture at Pernod Ricard is one of conviviality.

We make sure that we provide a dynamic working environment for all our employees in order to achieve our business goals,” she said.
