MTN rewards winners of ‘m’afe nie’ promo
MTN Telecommunication Limited has presented the first batch of prizes to 30 winners of the MTN “m’afe nie promotion.”

The promotion, which started in March 2015, was aimed at rewarding loyal customers and giving opportunity to others to win life-changing valuable prizes.
The prizes presented to the winners included Huawei Y220 phones, power banks, Nokia Lumia 535 phones, iphone 6+ phones, LED TVs, Kia Rio cars and a three-bedroom house, which was the ultimate prize.
At the presentation ceremony in Accra last Monday, the Chief Marketing Officer of MTN, Mr Raul De, said the company regularly rewarded its customers because it looked beyond its function of just being a telecom company to improving the lives of people.
“As a leading telecoms brand, we always look beyond the telecommunications service and add value to the customers’ experience,” he said.
He explained that the winners were selected based on the amount of credit they exhausted within a specific time. He added that each customer had a target which he or she had to exceed and that would give them the chance to win any of the prizes.
Mr Kofi Anane, the winner of the three-bedroom house, told the Daily Graphic that he and his wife took a loan of GH¢5,000 and invested GH¢4,000 in the promotion because they had set a target to win something big this time round.
He said he got to know about the promotion when a representative of MTN explained the details on a radio station in Kumasi; and that was why they decided to participate.
He stated that he was excited about that because it would totally change his family’s lifestyle, adding, “My family never dreamt of owning a house in the capital but now that God has granted us one through MTN, we will consider the possibility of relocating to Accra.”
