MTN Ghana partners GrowForMe to transform agricultural landscape for farmers
MTN Ghana has partnered GrowForMe, a pioneering platform focusing on commodity financing, aggregation, and trading to empower farmers.

With the platform, farmers will be provided essential resources, market access, climate-resilient solutions, and valuable training.
The Chief Digital Officer of MTN, Dario Bianchi, stated that the partnership will revolutionize agriculture in Ghana.
“We are proud to partner with GrowForMe in a transformative collaboration that will revolutionize agriculture in Ghana.
“With our extensive reach and resources, we aim to bring real change to the lives of farmers across the country, “ he said.
On her part, the Head of Partnership, GrowForMe, Amabel Sefako Agbanu, stated that her outfit was proud to support farmers realise their dreams.
“This partnership marks a significant milestone for us. We are excited to work hand-in-hand with MTN Ghana to support farmers in realising their agricultural dreams while making food affordable and accessible to all. Together, we are empowering farmers for a brighter, more sustainable future,” she noted.

The farmers will have access to essential inputs which will enable them have access to crucial inputs such as seeds, fertilizers, and machinery, to facilitate improved agricultural practices.

The GrowForMe platform will enable funders/investors to finance inputs such as quality fertilizer and seeds, finance the cost of commodity aggregation and trade for a share of the profit at sales and harvest.
Also, users will receive monthly updates on the performance of farms or trades on the market; buyers/0ff-takers such as processing companies, exporters and market retailers to access quality commodities conveniently.
Additionally, farmers/aggregators/sellers would also be able to sell their commodities at the nearest warehouse for instant payment on mobile money as well as request inputs, training, extension or mechanization services from their phones.
