L’AINE Services CEO advises women to be creative

The seminar was on the theme; ‘Bricks for Success’ and was attended by over 40 women.

Mrs Hagan urged women to develop a multitude of skills in order to make it in their chosen fields.

“Just as you cannot use a single brick to build a house, you cannot build your career on one skill. Many other women have achieved incredible heights and this just goes to prove that it is not impossible for a woman to do just as well or exceed the performance of a man,” she noted.

She said if women wanted to be recognised as having important roles to play in society, then they must stop making excuses themselves.

She also cautioned women not to think they are in competition with men but that they have their own unique roles which complement those of men.

Mrs Hagan advised all women to groom their children to be helpful and considerate and to see their self-worth from an early age.

“There are many little things you can do to help other women. For example, you can pay your domestic help an amount sufficient enough for them to properly take care of their own families,” she added.

She said further advised women to spend quality time with their families and offer their best at the work place.

The seminar was also attended by the Founder of Salt and Light Ministries; Rev. Dr Joyce Aryee, Founder and CEO of Ark Foundation Ghana ; Mrs Angela Dwamena Aboagye,and the CEO of Inkit Ghana,Mrs Sharon Peters.
