Graphic-Business TBSC Version 6.0: KNUST, UEW qualify for final

The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) and the University of Education Winneba (UEW) have qualified for the final of this year's Graphic Business Tertiary Business Sense Challenge Version 6.0.

A third finalist which will be the result of the contest between the University of Ghana (UG) and the SD Dombo University of Business and Integrated Development Studies (SD-DBIDS) which was ongoing at the filing of this report.

KNUST beat bitter rivals the University of Cape Coast (UCC) by a score of 75.5 to 62.5 in  a delicately poised encounter.

It was a deserved revenge for KNUST who have suffered a series of defeats from the hands of UCC.

Both started off well and got 16 apiece in the first round but the Ashanti Region based school gained in the calculations, which is the second round and opened an 8 point gap.

UCC came back with a 1.2 points lead in the thurdd round and extended it to a 2.2 points lead in the round 4A.

The Cape Coast based school entrenched a further 5.2 points  lead in Round 4B.

However KNUST took the competition by the scruff of the neck and scored 10 points in the riddles to carry the day.

Giving them a return to the final once again after featuring in the final last year.

Defending champions UEW had it easy against the University for Development Studies (UDS) when they trounced them by a score of 60.5 to 28.16.

UEW dominated the contest from start to finish winning all five  rounds.
