Govt urged to focus more on energy sector

The Executive Chairman of Mail Finance Credit Union, Mr Mark Gborgbo, has called on the government to concentrate its attention on the energy sector which is the backbone of the economy.

“The government must identify that key sector and invest more into it because the ripple effect will be greater”, he told the Daily Graphic at the annual end-of-year get-together of the company in Accra. 

The company rewarded its employees in the sales and marketing department and also recognised the contributions of their cherished customers for their support over the years.

Mr Gborgbo congratulated the entire staff of the company, especially the sales and marketing team for their contribution to the company’s success, saying; “Our continuous collective efforts will ensure the company’s growth.”  

The award for best sales and marketing person for the year 2014 went to Ms Marry Adanuti,  who took home a double-door refrigerator.

Expressing her excitement, Ms Adanuti said, “I’ m grateful to God and to the team I work with for this award.” 

The second best sales and marketing person award went to Ms Evelyn Amable. She took home a mini refrigerator, while Ms Hellen Adu Mensah and Felicia Nyarko Odei won the most passionate and loyalty awards, respectively.
