Government extends date for tendering of bonds by bondholders

The government has extended to Friday at 4:00pm (GMT) the deadline for some bondholders who are facing difficulties on online portals tendering in their bonds to do so by the extended time.

It however stressed that the extended time does not affect the timetable for the Domestic Debt Exchange Programme (DDEP).

In a release issued by the sector Minister Ken Ofori Atta, it noted that the announcement date for the settlement of the DDE has been rescheduled to Tuesday February 14 instead of the original date of 13.

It stated that the government expresses gratitude to bondholders who have tended in their bonds.

“All eligible Bondholders who were unable to complete the process should visit the website of the Central Securities Depository (www.csd.com.gh/dde) to complete the process,” the release added.
