This charitable gesture was prompted by a request from Henry Theodore Sintim, the district Education director, who sought a television set to enhance audio-visual teaching and learning at the kindergarten.
On Monday, March 4, 2024, the Eastfield Foundation delivered the flat-screen TV and satellite dish, as well as exercise books, pencils, erasers, and five hundred freshly harvested oranges to the school.
Eugene Wirehene Asamoah, the Headmaster of Adinkrom D/A Basic School, received the donation on behalf of the Education directorate, expressing heartfelt appreciation for the Foundation's efforts to enhance audio-visual education and the welfare of the KG children.
Sam Dokyi, the Farm manager of Eastfield Farms, representing the Foundation, emphasized the importance of maintaining and utilizing the donated items effectively. He encouraged the school management to instil a culture of care and maintenance while advising the students to study diligently to bring pride to the Foundation and the nation.
Also present at the donation ceremony was Moses Odame, the School Improvement Support Officer (SISO) for Aduasa "A" Circuit.
Eastfield Foundation, in collaboration with the Orange Growers Association (OGA), has consistently demonstrated its commitment to CSR initiatives, benefiting schools and health facilities in Achiase and surrounding districts.
