Binatone introduces 2-year warranty
A Global appliance company, Binatone Industries Limited, has demonstrated its commitment in manufacturing quality products for the Ghanaian market with the introduction of a two-year warranty period.

The two-year standard warranty, which takes effect from February 1 this year, would apply to all Binatone products.
Ghanaians who use Binatone products with the initial one-year warranty will also benefit from the new offer which is being made in commemoration of the 40th anniversary of the brand in Africa.
At the launch in Accra, the Global Chief Executive Director of Binatone, Mr Sunil Lalvani, said over the past 40 years, Binatone had been actively present in Africa and understood why many African customers valued product warranty.
“By doubling our warranty period, we are paying heed to our customers’ needs, all the while demonstrating the faith we have in our products” he said.
According to Mr Lalvani, Binatone came into existence in 1958 in the United Kingdom as a result of the desire to meet the modern lifestyle needs of customers.
“Combining latest manufacturing technologies, modern designs and cutting-edge technologies, the innovative brand continues to touch millions of lives through its products,” he said.
Mr Lalvani said more than 100 million products were sold in Africa in 2014, and added that the brand continued to stay close to its markets and customers.
Why Ghana
The Managing Director of Binatone Ghana, Mr Venu Babu, mentioned the political stability and the proximity to other neighbouring countries as some of the reasons the brand was extended to Ghana.
According to him, the most popular Binatone products in Ghana are standing fans, adding that the wide penetration has shown that more Ghanaians were choosing convenience and efficiency in their lives than before.
