Baba Ibrahim wins Vodafone Yee Twi Kɔ ultimate promo

Vodafone Ghana has presented a GH¢100,000 cheque to Kwashieman-based Baba Ibrahim, who emerged as the ultimate winner of the 70-day consumer promotion dubbed: ‘Yee Twi Ko.’

The Olam Sales Officer, who had previously won a cash prize in one of the monthly draws held in Koforidua, gained the most points within the promotion period, according to data collated by international auditing firm, KPMG.

At the West Hills Mall in Accra, Mr Ibrahim, who could not hide his joy, said: “Initially, I was a bit sceptical about being able to win anything. However, when I won GH¢10,000 in Koforidua, I decided to push harder and go all out to win the ultimate prize. I’m grateful to Vodafone for this life-changing opportunity.”

Presenting the cash prize, the Marketing Director of Vodafone Ghana, Ms Agnes Emefa Essah, said: “Vodafone Ghana has a history of celebrating loyal customers in a unique way and has rewarded more than 200,000 customers, exceeding the original target of 180,000. I am happy to say that although the ultimate winner has been crowned, the promotion will still continue till 31st March 2016 to give our customers the opportunity to win some more.”

Meanwhile, Mallam Haruna, Ismael Manaaf and Phillip Paitoo were also winners on the day, bagging home GH¢30,000, GH¢10,000 and GH¢5,000 respectively.

Gasmilla of ‘Telemor’ fame was in attendance to treat the audience to non-stop performances of a number of new hit songs.
