Presidential ballot: CPP 1, NDP 2, NDC 3, PPP 4, NPP 5, PNC 6, JOY 7

The Electoral Commission on Wednesday evening balloted for positions on the Presidential ballot papers for the December 7, 2016 election.

The Convention People's Party (CPP) will be in the first position followed by the National Democratic Party (NDP) in the second, National Democratic Congress (NDC) at third, Progressive People's Party (PPP) at fourth, New Patriotic Party (NPP) at fifth, People's National Convention (PNC) at sixth and the independent candidate Jacob Osei Yeboah (JOY) at the seventh position.

On October 20, all the political parties contesting this year’s Parliamentary election also voted for positions on the ballot papers.

The Great Consolidated Popular Party (GCPP) chose the first position followed by the Progressive People’s Party (PPP) at second and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) at third position.

Akwasi Addae Odike's United Progressive Party (UPP) chose the fourth position followed by the New Patriotic Party (NPP) at fifth, National Democratic Party (NDP) at sixth and Independent Peoples Party (IPP) at seventh.
