Chief Imam, Nakoa confer to promote peace
The National Chief Imam, Sheikh D. Usman Nuhu Sharabutu, and the Spiritual Leader of the Prophets of Spiritual Churches Council, Nakoa Nazareth Ansah Jamson, have implored religious leaders to use their platforms to promote peace and peaceful co-existence among the various religious groups.

In addition, they said religious leaders should not leave the issue of same-sex marriage on only the President, but instead use the Holy Books (Bible and Quran) to enlighten their followers on the issue.
Call
The two leaders said this last Thursday when Sheikh Dr Sharabutu paid a courtesy call on Nakoa Jamson at his residence at the Israel King of the Jews Church at Dome, near Accra.
The visit was aimed at strengthening the cordial relationship between the two religious leaders. It was also to provide the platform for the two to discuss issues of national concern.
