The rehabilitation of the sickbay will herald the 84th Speech And Prize-giving Day to be held in March 2015 under the auspices of the ‘84 Year Group.

At a special anniversary thanksgiving service held at the Passover Chapel International at Community 2, Tema, the leader of the group, Mr Michael Nartey, on behalf of the members, expressed his gratitude to the past and present management and members of staff of the school for their dedication to work, which he said had put Accra Academy and its products among the best in the country.

According to Mr Nartey, “The ’84 Year Group, being one of the most vibrant year groups of Accra Academy, has in the past rehabilitated one of the school’s lavatories and also introduced an annual motivational lecture for Form One students.

“We have also highlighted the need for healthy living among past and present students by organising health walks and other activities,” Mr Nartey pointed out.

The Head Pastor of the Passover Chapel International, Rev. Emmanuel Amon-Kwafo, who is also a member of the ‘84 Year Group, prayed for God's intervention in the group’s efforts to help improve the lives of the management, members of staff and students of the school.
