Déjà vu? Majority hails Budget 2018, Minority damns it

Finance and Economic Planning Minister, Mr Ken Ofori Atta was in Parliament Wednesday, November 15, to present the 2018 Budget Statement and Economic Policy of the 10-month old Akufo-Addo administration.

Among highlights, the Finance Minister touted several of what he says the government has achieved and promised many more to come.

As expected, the Majority side could see only good tidings from the Budget, while the Minority, as usual, saw everything wrong with it, and labeled it a 419 or budget.

A familiar path, won’t you say? It has now become a standard of budget presentations – It must be good at all cost; or useless, depending on where you stand.
