4 Garrison win Kilit tennis

Kumasi based 4 Garrison Officers Tennis Club showed their class when they added Sunyani Tennis Club to their victims by whitewashing them 12-3 in the Second Annual Kilit Tennis competition.

They dominated in all the categories, including the ladies division, in the competition played on Founder’s Day at the 4

Garrison court. 4 Garrison won five of thesix singles matches, exceptfor Joshua Duah, who failed to live up to the billing as he surrendered 3-7 to the brightest spot from Sunyani Mensah Amedume. Samuel Aidoo, Baba Zakari, Ryan Asante and Simon Salifu won their games with ease to endorse 4Garrison as the top god in the region.

Mariam Mahmud also defeated Alhassan Salamatu of Sunyani 7-2 and won the doubles 4-2 to complete the annihilation. The Managing Director of Evergreen Chemicals Limited, sole agent of Kilit Insecticide Spray and other Polygard Products, Mr John Dele, and his wife Mrs Abigail Dele, were delighted with the general performance and promised to continue with the sponsorship to help take the game to the next level.

The President of 4Garrison, Mr SamuelAmpadu-Kyei (Kyikyiss),expressed his appreciation to Kilit Insecticide Spray for the sponsorship and also thanked Sunyani Tennis Club for honouring the invitation.

Mr Ampadu-Kyei, who is also the national vice president of the Ghana Tennis Federation, praised the company for its contribution towards the development of tennis in the country
