The 20-year-old came off the bench to score twice and provided an assist to help the Black Meteors beat their Congolese counterparts 3-2.

Yeboah who plays for Liga I side CFR Cluj was introduced at the start of the second half when he came on to replace skipper, Daniel Afriyie Barnieh.

It took just five minutes to make his presence felt on the pitch when he sprinted down the flanks to cut in and laid a pass to Ernest Nuamah to score the opening goal.

He went on to score two goals in the 76th minute when he towered to nod home and on the 83rd minute where he scored from the spot.

The player was thankful to his teammates for their support and attributed the award to hard work.

“I achieved this by hard work and I want to thank my teammates for the support they gave me on the pitch”, he said.
