Winner of YFM/Hunter’s pool tourney to get GH₵10,000
This year's edition of the YFM/Hunter’s Pool tournament has been launched with GH₵10,000 at stake for the overall winner.
According to organisers, the tournament will begin with the preliminary stages taking place at different over 50 different locations across 5 regions in Ghana.

The host regions are the Greater Accra, Ashanti, Western, Central and Eastern regions with the final contest coming off in the nation’s capital at a yet to be announced date.
How to qualify
The purchase of two bottles of Hunter's gold or dry qualifies anyone to participate in the tournament. Participants will then receive a unique ticket that will qualify them to participate in the pool tournament.
Speaking on behalf of the organizers on the modalities of the tournament, Y107.9FM’s Programmes Manager, Eddy Blay Jr said all games except the final would be a knockout tournament.
"The games shall be the best of 3 played to determine the winner. Players shall be made to follow laid down health and safety protocols the whole time during the game and all other rules shall be read during on-air sessions and before the games," he said.

Prizes
The prize packed contest will see the ultimate winner walk away with a cash prize of GH₵10,000, a trophy, a medal, and cases of Hunter's cider.
The first runner-up will also win a weekend stay at any local destination of their choice, a medal as well as cases of Hunter's cider while the second runner-up will get a weekend stay at a local destination their choice and cases of Hunter's cider. Other giveaways include a pool table set, professional cues and cartons of Hunter’s cider.
