Berhalter clarified that Antonee Robinson and Mark McKenzie have been omitted due to minor injuries, which they are expected to fully recover from. Cameron Carter-Vickers, on the other hand, makes a return after recently coming back from an injury while playing for Celtic.

Kevin Paredes from Wolfsburg and Kristoffer Lund from Palermo also received call-ups, although Haji Wright was not selected.

Andre Ayew, Baba Rahman excluded as Partey, Lamptey return to Black Stars in Hughton's latest call-up for US friendly

Additionally, Berhalter confirmed discussions with Burnley's young winger Luca Koleosho regarding his international future. Koleosho has recently featured for Italy's U19 and U20 sides but has previously represented the U.S. at U15 level and was born in Connecticut.
