Toure, who was Kotoko’s top scorer last season with 11 goals, was loaned to Lebanese side Nejmeh FC a few months ago, but the deal fell through.

The 28-year-old striker is currently on holidays in his native Cote d’Ivoire but has confirmed he would return to the country and rejoin the Porcupine Warriors as they prepare for the 2015/16 season.

Toure’s expected return will further strengthen the reigning SIC-Nyemitei SWAG Cup holders, who have made the biggest splash in the player- transfer market in the off-season with the signing of players, such as goalkeeper Ernest Sowah, Edwin Tuffour Frimpong from Liberty Professionals, Theophilus Nyame and Kwame Boateng from Accra Great Olympics.
