Table tennis :Tesano Spinners maintain top spot

Leaders Tesano Spinners continued their winning streak by thrashing Fire Service 3-0, and Eastern Loopers 3-0 in the male division of the Stanbic Bank/Graphic Sports Table Tennis League at the D.G. Hathiramani Hall of the Accra Stadium.

Defending champions, Immigration maintained their chase with a 3-0 win over Team Baboo followed by another 3-0 win against Otumfuo Stars.

In other matches played last Saturday, Ghana Army defeated Ashanti Otumfuo Stars 3-0, Team Coach Addo lost 0-3 to Ghana Navy, Synergy lost 1-3 to Kings Royal Academy and Police beat Western Table Tennis Club 3-0.

In the rest of the weekend’s matches,  Army beat Eastern Loopers 3-0, Madina Stars lost 2-3 to Navy, Kings Royal Academy won 3-0 over Team Coach Addo, Western Table Tennis Club beat Ashaiman Power Club 3-1 and the Ghana Revenue Authority beat Synergy 3-0.

The women’s division saw Tesano Spinners beat Madina Stars 3-0, Western Table Tennis Club lost 0-3 to Team Coach Addo, Army lost 1-3 to Police, while the Ghana Revenue Authority beat Immigration 3-2.

The rest of the women’s matches saw Tesano Spinners beat Navy 3-0, Police beat Ashanti Otumfuo Stars 3-0, Immigration lost 0-3 to Team Coach Addo and Ghana Army beat Ghana Revenue Authority 3-1.
