Starlets coach still hunts for talents

Black Starlets coach, Paa Kwesi Fabin, is still searching for more talents to beef up his squad despite the team’s resounding 5-1 victory over Burkina Faso in their first leg final Africa U-17 Championship qualifier.

According to him the team still needs reinforcements ahead of the Africa scheduled for Madagascar next year.

Already, the coach has drafted three players from Mandela Academy, Cape Coast Strikers and United Through Sports colts clubs and hinted of plans to add more ahead of the championship.

Coach Fabin told the Graphic Sports last Tuesday that he had identified some lapses at the right back, midfield and goalkeeping departments which he had resolved to fix before the competition.

The former Accra Hearts of Oak and Kumasi Asante Kotoko technical disclosed that despite their 5-1 thrashing of Burkina Faso at the Cape Coast Stadium last Sunday, he identified certain weaknesses.

Ghana is scheduled to play the return leg on August 20, but the coach said the three players he had already drafted into the team were doing well but was still opened to new players, who can help the team realise their dreams.
