President to grace First National Bank Head of State Golf Tournament

President John Dramani Mahama is expected to be the Guest of Honour at the fifth edition of the Head of State Invitational Golf Tournament at the Achimota Golf Club on Saturday.

Sponsored by First National Bank Ghana, the tournament is expected to attract members of the diplomatic community from across Africa, senior executives of the FirstRand Group and other international guests.

First National Bank Ghana is supporting the tournament for the second consecutive year, reaffirming its commitment to fostering strategic partnerships and creating opportunities for economic collaboration.

The bank’s Chief Executive Officer, Sylvia Inkoom, said the tournament reflected the institution’s belief in the importance of relationships and partnerships in driving sustainable economic growth.

“At First National Bank Ghana, we believe that sustainable economic growth is driven not only by strong institutions but also by meaningful relationships and strategic partnerships,” she said.

“The Head of State Invitational Golf Tournament provides a unique platform that brings together business decision-makers, industry leaders, policymakers, investors, and diplomatic partners whose collective influence helps shape the future of our economy.”

Francis Andoh, lead manager of the tournament’s organising team, said this year’s edition would combine competitive golf with opportunities for networking and engagement across sectors and national borders.
