The astute businessman was among the outstanding personalities who were honoured at the heavily-attended event in Toronto last Sunday night.

A citation signed by Privy Council MP, Humber River-Black Creek, Judy. A. Sgro, read; “On behalf of Prime Minister Trudeau and the Government of Canada, I am pleased to extend my personal congratulations and warmest wishes to you.

“This prestigious award acknowledges your accomplishments and contributions you have made to your community and to Canada.

“It recognises your strong spirit, leadership and commitment to serve as a positive role model; by example and anything that is possible.”

As a young promising football administrator, Mr Armah has managed Tarkwa-based Medeama SC to win two MTN FA Cup titles, as well as participating in the CAF Confederation Cup twice in the past few years.
