The national female U-17 team, Black Maidens, broke camp yesterday from their Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence base after advancing past their Gambian counterparts via a 7-1 aggregate in the 2018 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup qualifiers.

Players and officials of the team were released by the Management Committee for the Christmas festivities.
The Maidens are expected to resume camping on January 3 to prepare for Djibouti in the final World Cup qualifier.
