Kotoko, Paradise Pac sign partnership deal

Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Paradise Pac drinking water, owned by Black Stars skipper, Asamoah Gyan, have signed a two-year renewable partnership deal worth GH¢363,200.

The sponsorship deal, signed in Kumasi yesterday has a financial component in excess of GH¢240,000 to ease the financial stress of the club.

The GH¢181,600 yearly deal is the national team captain’s contribution to the growth of the local game.

Gyan, President of the Baby Jets Investment Limited, urged Ghanaians to promote local products to grow indigenous industries because profits made would stay in the country to grow the economy.

As a big fan of Kotoko, Gyan told supporters of the club that he would end his football career with the Porcupine Warriors, urging them to be on the look out.

This is my small way of giving back to society, more importantly to Asanteman. Once Asanteman endorses any brand, it is bound to succeed," he said.

The CEO of Kotoko, Mr George Amoako, said the sponsorship remained the club's biggest in recent times, adding that it would enhance the performance of the players.

He announced that measures were being put in place to ensure that only Paradise Pac water was sold at the Baba Yara Stadium during all Kotoko matches and other related activities.
