Azumah Nelson, an iconic figure in boxing, described the maiden edition of the special boxing event as a huge success, expressing satisfaction with the high level of competition. He pledged to elevate the standards in subsequent editions, stating, "This is just the beginning; we will improve and make it better in our subsequent editions."

Juvenile bouts featuring Godfred Coffie versus Solomon Aryeetey, Charles Paa Tee Quaye versus Mohammed Ablor Sowah, William Afofo versus Osborn Love Omanhene, and Prince Larbi versus Ramford Laryea all concluded with draws.
