Mawuko Afadzinu, who serves as the African Table Tennis Federation (ITTF-Africa) Executive Vice President in charge of Marketing, joined representatives of African table tennis associations at the 2026 ITTF-Africa Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Tangier, Morocco.
The meeting was held on Wednesday, October 21, at the Mövenpick Hotel in Tangier, alongside the 2026 African Table Tennis Championships.
It was organised by the Royal Moroccan Table Tennis Federation under the auspices of ITTF-Africa.
The AGM brought together stakeholders in African table tennis to deliberate on the administration, development and future direction of the sport across the continent.
Key areas on the meeting's reported agenda included administrative, financial and technical reports, updates from the federation's executive bodies, committees and African zones, and plans for upcoming continental competitions.
Discussions also covered the competition calendar for 2027 and 2028, including the selection of host countries for future events.
Afadzinu's participation provided Ghana with representation at the continental governing body's annual meeting, where matters concerning the organisation and development of African table tennis were discussed.
The AGM formed part of a broader week of continental table tennis activities in Tangier, with the African Championships bringing together leading players from across the continent to compete for honours.
