It's good to be back -- Antoine Semenyo

Bristol City attacker, Antoine Semenyo, is delighted to return to the Black Stars after injuries kept him out of the team.

The 22-year-old striker is among 29 players who were invited by Coach Otto Addo for the Black Stars friendly against Brazil on Friday, and Nicaragua on Tuesday after hitting top form this season.

Semenyo, who has scored four goals in five appearances this season for the Championship side this season, told Ghanafa.org that he was happy to be back to the team and ready to contribute to the team's success.

"I am happy obviously being with the team again. I went back, unfortunately because of injury but it's good to be back. I am ready to show Ghanaians what I can do so I am ready and raring to go.

He also welcomed the new players into the team, stating that it would promote competition and no one would feel he owned a particular position.

"It's a healthy competition, everyone is fighting for the spot if you get that number one spot you want to keep it so that is what I am fighting for", Semenyo observed.

"We have got some new boys in with us, all of us can jell together, get used to how we play, come together as a group and perform on a big stage so everyone is in good spirit, everyone is with good vibes so we are all raring to go so we can't wait.
