The winner of the biggest sporting jackpot in the country's history, Kwame Fosuhene has been presented with a GH₵990,650 (£173,000) dummy cheque by sports betting company Betway.
Fosuhene, 23, a movie director from Adabraka in Kumasi told Graphic Online on the sidelines of the presentation ceremony on Friday, March 10 that he was surprised when he successfully predicted 14 out of 15 matches on an accumulator bet last weekend
However, he hinted at investing his winnings in his movie business and saving some of his winnings for an unborn male child.
"Even when I did not have this money I saw myself as Mark Zuckerberg and I want my one male child to be like Bill Gates. I have a girlfriend and want to get married but its steps," a delighted Fosuhene said after receiving a dummy-cheque from the operators of Betway, Sports Betting Group Ghana Limited (SBGGL) in Accra.
He also disclosed that his newfound wealth has brought him a lot of admirers and calls from an ex-girlfriend.
"My ex-girlfriend left me after she won an American Visa Lottery to New Jersey in the USA, she called me and said she is seeing some fake news and I said thank God
He added, "I don't know what to buy first, honestly I haven't thought about it".
Fosuhene disclosed that he has opted for a one-time payment of the GH₵990,650 (£173,000) sum into his bank account.
On his part, Marketing Manager at Betway, Kwabena Oppong-Nkrumah said, Betway is excited about the win as they always look forward to someone winning the jackpot.
