With two matches to end this season's National Women's League (NWL), it looks like the finalists of last season, Hasaacas Ladies and Ampem Darkoa, could clash again in this season's final.
At the end of Match Day 12 last weekend, the two teams topped their respective zones, Hasaacas leading in the southern zone with 24 points, with Ampem Darkoa leading the northern zone with 26 points.
The fight for the final slot in northern zone could be a stiff fight as Ampem Darkoa lead with just a point ahead of Prisons Ladies who are second with 25 points, and Ashtown Ladies also third with 23 points. The tight standings make the last two games a must win for the Techiman-based team in particular if they are to make their second successive final berth. They have tough assignments against Ashtown Ladies on Match Day 13 this weekend to test their ability to consolidate their lead at the top.
