GNPC congratulates Black Stars

The Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC), headline sponsors of the Black Stars has commended the team for their recent victories over The Sudan and Lesotho in the ongoing 2013 World Cup qualifying matches but charged them to remain focused their games ahead to ensure they make to o Brazil 2014.

A statement by Nana Boakye Asafu-Adjaye, CEO of GNPC, said the whole nation was proud of the team’s efforts and urged the players and technical handlers to remain focus on their objective of being in the roll-call for Brazil 2014, when the elite in world football assemble.

“We recognise that qualifying for the 2014 World Cup is not an easy task; but with dedication and resilience you have stayed the course. We congratulate you for making your chances of progressing to the next stage of the qualifiers brighter by your latest 2-0 victory over Lesotho in Maseru on Sunday,” the statement said.

“Build on the good qualities that have brought you thus far as a formidable team, to win the rest of the qualifying matches.”
