A cricket enthusiast, Amit Agrawal, has donated a bowling machine to the national  cricket team  in support of  their  preparations towards international assignments.

According to the donor, the machine, which helps players to acquire the requisite strategy in ball control, speed and direction, as they train on their own,  was his personal contribution to  the team .

The machine, according to the donor, would also enhance the training  of players for them to overcome the strategy of opponents during international competitions.

He also donated some of cricket balls as part of his gesture to galvanise the players to  lift the flag of Ghana high in their  international assignments.

The ceremony  coincided with the donation of Club T. Shirts by officials of Fidelity Bank to the team.

Mr Agrawal encouraged the cricket team to focus on their training to enable them to win laurels during international competitions.

He promised to support the team in diverse ways to enable them to achieve much success for themselves and the nation.

Receiving the items on behalf of the Ghana Cricket Association, the President, Professor  William Ampofo, expressed his profound gratitude to both Mr Agrawal and management of Fidelity Bank.

While urging the sports fraternity to make similar donations to the cricket association, he said such donations motivated players to deliver in major international competitions.

He said he would collaborate with officials  and players to use the bowling machine in a way  that would yield positive results for both the Under 19 and senior teams as they prepared for their international assignments.
