During this time Nyantakyi, who doubles as a FIFA Council member is banned from all football activities at both national and international level.

Nyantakyi's ban comes on the heels of the screening of an investigative documentary titled #Number12 which captured Nyantakyi allegedly engaged in several acts of corruption

The decision was taken upon the request of the chairperson of the investigatory chamber of the Ethics Committee who is carrying out a formal investigation into the dealings of Nyantakyi captured in the #Number12 documentary produced by investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas.

It means the GFA is now without a leader following the sacking of George Afriyie as its Vice President in April.
