The championship offers not only medals and certificates but also a generous cash prize exceeding $2000 for the victorious participants.

Van Calebs, the lead organizer of the championship, expressed his enthusiasm for the event, highlighting that it will be the first of its kind in Africa.

He emphasized that the competition aims to provide African powerlifters with the opportunity to compete against their counterparts from other countries, thereby enhancing their skills and promoting the sport on the continent.

Calebs shared his vision of elevating bodybuilding to new heights and stressed the importance of initiatives that contribute to the development of the sport in the country.

"As our premier event of the year, I assure you it will be an extraordinary occasion, and I appeal to corporate organizations to join us and support the growth of this sport," he added.

He also emphasized that the competition is open to bodybuilders of all affiliations, regardless of their association with other competition bodies.

Participants in the upcoming championship will engage in a series of events, including squats, bench presses, and deadlifts, all overseen by experienced African umpires.
