Deportivo sign Muntari on contract

Sulley Muntari has been offered a short-term contract by Deportivo La Coruna after the Ghana international's successful trial with the Spanish side, Ghanasoccer net.com can exclusively reveal.

The 33-year-old was offered the deal last Thursday night after the club's management received a favourable report on his performance during his one-week trial stint.

According an agent close to the deal Muntari will meet his advisers to examine the terms of the contract before signing the deal.

Muntari has been boosted by news of his good performance after being assessed by the Spanish La Liga outfit The former AC Milan and Portsmouth star convinced his former team-mate Clarence Seedorf who was recently appointed manager of the side.

Muntari has been available on a free transfer since last July when his contract with then Serie A side Pescara run out.

He hogged the headlines after storming off the pitch after suffering racial abuse from the stands.
