"Last season we placed third scoring the highest goals and we are hoping to do better this year," Mr Mensah told the Daily Graphic in an interview on Monday.

"We started this project under the technical guidance of EK Afranie, however, he is no more with us but his protege's Technical Director Ali Jaraa and coach Frank Owusu are continuing the project and we hope to see some results soon".

"The delay in the start of the league affected us but we kept the boys busy with some friendly matches which were witnessed by some foreign scouts".

Established in 2016, the goal of Dan De-Van SC is to develop talented young football players to become future stars of Africa.

Dan De-Van SC has adopted the Kawukudi Park in Accra as its home grounds.
