Cologne have worn seven different kits this season

It is usual for clubs to have three kits for one season - home, away and a third kit - but German side Cologne have taken it to a new level after playing in their seventh strip of this campaign.

Cologne's home kit is white with red stripes, while their away kit is red.

To avoid clashing with RB Leipzig's white and red home strip, the away side wore a new black strip in their 2-1 win last weekend.

As well as the traditional three kits, Cologne sported the third kit from last season in September against Augsburg.

The Bundesliga side have also worn a different kit for the Europa League as well as a retro shirt.

The seventh shirt is unavailable to buy but if a fan wanted to purchase the other six shirts it would cost them £422.

The black strip might be seen again after Stefan Ruthenbeck's side, who are at the bottom of the table, picked up a vital win over Ralph Hasenhuttl's side.

Uhlsport is set to take over from current kit manufacturers Erima next season.
