The tournament serves as a platform for young talents to showcase their skills before international scouts and potentially secure professional contracts.

The opening ceremony took place last Tuesday night, launching the week-long tournament.

The 30-minute ceremony commenced with a spectacular fireworks display and a captivating brass bass performance.

Following the ceremony, teams hit the pitch to begin their warm-ups in preparation for the upcoming matches.

Asamoah Gyan, the CEO of Baby Jets and former captain of the Black Stars, delivered an inspiring speech during the ceremony.

He encouraged the players to give their best and strive for excellence, emphasizing the need for hard work and determination to reach the top.

Gyan reminded them that not everyone would make it, but those who work hard and remain focused can achieve great heights in football.

He also expressed the tournament's purpose of giving back to society by providing opportunities for young talents to shine.

In the opening match, Ofori Academy from Takoradi emerged victorious over Jayash FC from Ablekuma, Accra, with a score of 5-4 on penalties.
