Budget Cash and Carry pledges support for sports

The Chief Executive Officer of Budget Cash and Carry Limited, Nana Egyir Aggrey I, says that his outfit will continue to offer financial support to Ghana sports as he believes sports is an avenue to develop the youth in the country.

He made this statement last Saturday at the West Hills Mall in Accra, when his company launched its new product “Blue Giant Energy Drink”, a product which has been prescribed to all sports persons due to its ability to restore lost energy and build bigger and stronger muscle because of its leading ingredient being Branched-Chain Amino Acid (BCAA).

At the event, which was highlighted by a weightlifting competition, Nana Egyir Aggrey I, in his remarks, was of the opinion that sports was the only way to develop Ghanaian youth and make them successful in life; hence the need to continue supporting it.

“I have supported sports for the past 20 years and will continue to support sports in Ghana, it is the only way the youth in Ghana can develop and would not have to depend on their families. My company has sponsored teams such as Kotoko, Hearts of Oak, Olympics and other teams, not only football, but other sporting federations,” he said.

The technical Director of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Dr Emmanuel Owusu Ansah, who spoke on behalf of the Youth and Sports Minister, Mr Isaac Asiamah, expressed his gratitude to the company for its continuous support to sports in the country.
