Botwe to support Dawu Stadium facelift
The Member of Parliament (MP) for the Okere Constituency, Mr Dan Kweku Botwe, has pledged to support the ongoing renovation works at the home grounds of Dreams FC, the Theatre of Dreams, at Dawu.
Mr Botwe made the pledge during a meeting with the leadership of the club at his residence at Abiriw last Tuesday.

Details of the pledge include the refurbishment of the main road leading to the Theatre of Dreams.
The dressing room will also receive a massive facelift, likewise some sections of the stands.
Dreams FC, at the beginning of the month, announced the closure of the facility to make way for major renovation works ahead of its second campaign in the Ghanaian top flight.
Briefing the Daily Graphic, Dreams FC’s Administrative Manager, Mr Ameenu Shardow, said the pledge by Mr Botwe, who is also the Minister for Regional Reorganisation and Development, will complement efforts being made by the club to upgrade the facility to surpass the minimum standards required to host Premier League matches.
“The people of this area have been very excited and supportive of the activities of Dreams FC,” the MP told the Dreams FC delegation, led by the club’s President Mohammed Jiji Alifoe.
“This is, therefore, my contribution towards the continuous enhancement of the sport in my area.
“Of course, we are all happy that once again the people of Dawu will be enjoying Premier League football and, therefore, every support required must be given in order for the team to succeed,” he stated.
