Black Eagles 7s eye gold at Burkina Faso tourney

The Ghana Rugby Association (GRA) yesterday unveiled 15 players of the Black Eagles 7s team that will represent the country at the upcoming North Division Two African Cup of Nations in Burkina Faso slated for May 17 and 18, this year.

The ceremony took place at the Accra Sports Stadium, with Hamza Suleiman, Alhassan Sani, Swabiru Salim Amuzuloh, William Ayeetey, Emmanuel Kalos Obena, Moro Kwao, Alex Dorpenyo, Razak Seidu, Ewuakye Eugene, Mohammed Rabiu, Tenkorang Samson, Nasiru Aminu, Labaran Ibrahim, Bosoka Kalestus and Dzata Jason all presented to the media and officials present.

Speaking at the event, the president of the Ghana Rugby Association (GRA), Gifty Annan-Myers, said the team was poised to win gold for the country at the tournament.

“I am sure the team will come back with gold because I was impressed by their last training that I witnessed”.
