Ashgold vrs Asante Kotoko rained off, rescheduled for Monday

The Fourth week league encounter between Ashgold and Asante Kotoko at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium was rained off during second half and will be replayed Monday at the same venue.

The two teams were a goal apiece in the half with Yakubu Muhammed, formerly of Ashgold, fetching the opener in the 15th minute for Kotoko before midfielder Amos Addai equalized three minutes later in the otherwise highly entertaining game.

According to the management of Ashgold, the gate fees for Centre and Popular stands will be GH¢5, the Wings GH¢10 while VIP will be GH¢15 for the replay.

Assin-Fosu based Class One Referee Prince Amoah had resumed the second half, only to soon call off the game after three minutes of play in the half, forced by poor visibility as a result of the incessant rains.
