Ashgold sign deal with Don Simon

Champion club, AshantiGold, yesterday signed a one-year sponsorship deal with Spain-based J.Garcia Carrion, producers of Don Simon Fruit juice.

It’s the second sponsorship deal to be secured by the Miners from two Spanish companies within a month.

The contract was facilitated by Permafix Industries Limited (leading tile adhesive manufactures and the club’s headline sponsors) through the initiative of Mr Marco Polo, Financial Director of Permafix Industries Limited.

Mr Polo, for his part, expressed his appreciation to the son of the owner, Luciano Garcia Carrion and Manager for Africa Enrique Sanchez who made the deal happen.

 “Don Simon juices are made with the finest natural ingredients using the latest technology existing on the market. We want every sports man to enjoy our juices and drinks to stay healthy,” he said.

He said the company believed in champions and was confident that its association with Ashgold would make the Obuasi club champions in both Ghana and Africa.

Mr. Kudjoe Fianoo, CEO of Ashgold, who signed the deal on behalf of the club said the deal had come at a good time when they needed a partnership with the corporate world to perform well in Africa.
