Anas exposé: KP Boateng reacts

Former Black Stars player, Kevin-Prince Boateng has reacted to the Anas exposé on corruption in the Ghana Football Association.

In a tweet Thursday evening Boateng suggested the exposé has vindicated him following his row with the FA and coach Akwasi Appiah in Brazil four years ago.

Boateng had insisted the circumstances that led to his dismissal from the camp of the Black Stars in Brazil World Cup in 2014 was unfair.

“And now, who was the one not telling the truth?” he posed the question on Twitter.

Kevin-Prince Boateng and his colleague, Sulley Muntari, were sacked from Black Stars camp during Brazil World Cup tourney in 2014 over alleged insubordination towards coach Akwasi Appiah.

Anas Aremeyaw Anas released the investigative piece, titled 'Number 12: When Corruption and Greed Become the Norm', on Wednesday showing over 70 referees and other football officials taking bribes before games with the intention of manipulating the outcomes of the games.

The GFA President Mr Kwesi Nyantakyi himself accepted a bribe of $65,000 from undercover journalists who posed as investors who wanted to sponsor the Ghana league and wanted government contracts.
