Speaking at the event, the Chief Executive Officer for Africa at Zutari, Tlhabeli Christopher Ralebitso, explained that the firm invests in golf because of the sport’s unique ability to foster deep connections. He noted that spending roughly four hours together on an 18-hole course allows players to bond, understand one another and hold meaningful conversations about business and life. He said going through the frustrations and excitement of the game helps build better partnerships, adding that the Achimota Golf Course was becoming synonymous with the company's calendar in connecting with clients.
The Country Manager for Zutari, Joshua Ayinbora, also highlighted the synergy between the sport and the company’s operations. He said golf resonates with what Zutari does, as it requires patience, trust, integrity and discipline, which are the same values the company applies when working with clients to realise their infrastructure dreams. He expressed satisfaction with the event, stating that bringing people from all walks of life to discuss future infrastructure for Ghana had been worth it, and that the firm was looking forward to the next edition.
