In his absence, the assistant coach of the club, Wahid Mohammed, has been asked to manage the club until a permanent appointment is made.

Goran was on the dug out as his side was humiliated 3-0 by Accra Great Olympics in their second game of the season.

Unfortunately, managers of the club did not assign any reasons for showing him the exit but it is believed that the club’s poor performance in their campaign so far has contributed to his dismissal.

Legon Cities managed to secure the services of some star players including Asamoah Gyan, Baba Mahama and Matthew Cudjoe but their star signing has not reflected in the team’s performance this season.

Their first game against Berekum Chelsea also ended in a 1-1 draw leaving them with just a point out of a possible six points.
