Black Stars coach, Milovan Rajevac, says he is very motivated to lead Ghana to the World Cup for the second time in Qatar 2024.

The Serbian took Ghana to their second appearance at the mundial in South Africa where he guided the Black Stars to finish at the quarter final.

According to the 67-year-old coach, no one seem motivated to lead Ghana to the World Cup again than he is and said he had done it before stating that it was his greatest achievement in his career with the Ghana national team.

“I was aware of the challenge and the task because nobody was more motivated than me to go to the World Cup especially to take Ghana because this was the biggest success in my career in Ghana and we have a history”, the coach said during an interview with Ghanafa.org.

Milo, as the Serbian coach is affectionately called, said he always reminisce Suarez’s handball that denied the Black Stars from progressing to the semifinal of the 2010 World Cup and believe they can improve upon it this time around.

“Very often I rewind in my mind the match against Uruguay and the famous penalty so this is something that drives me forward and I believe we can achieve even more so the motivation is high and nobody wants this more than me”, he noted.
