Ghana FA :Players to remain in camp despite COVID-19 recorded cases
The seven players, three from the national U-17 women's team, the Black Maidens and four tested positive from the camp of the Black Princesses after a mandatory medical put in place ahead of their camping in Cape Coast for their respective FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

Despite the scare, Ghana FA is confident of keeping the players, technical staff and all other essential service providers under safety conditions while in camp.
According to Henry Asante Twum, the GFA is not considering breaking camp and all players will remain in camp until a new date is announced by CAF for their respective qualifiers.
"It will be shocking to ask the players to go home after identifying some of them have contracted the coronavirus and treating them, because of the postponement of the game amidst the coronavirus pandemic and to recall them, that will not be prudent, they shall continue to be in camp and have frequent tests until a new date is fixed", Ghana FA Spokesperson Henry Asante Twum told Asempa FM.
The seven players have been isolated and are receiving treatment.
