GFA member contests Hearts' decision to sack Boadu
He said the termination of the former Under-15 national team coach's contract by Hearts three matches into the new league season was premature.

He opined that Hearts should have sacked the 37-year-old trainer before the beginning of the season to enable a new coach to take the team through pre-season preparation.
“Well, it is not a good one from my point of view because he (Boadu) has really done well for the club which hitherto struggled for trophies for many years,” he told Graphic Sports in an exclusive telephone interview in Accra last Wednesday.
Mr Addo explained that the most successful managers in the world enjoyed longevity in the clubs; hence, it was wrong for Hearts to dismiss their gaffer after just a few years with the club.
“Traditional clubs should learn how to maintain coaches to stand the test of time. The most successful managers stay for long,” Mr Addo stressed.
He urged Hearts to do an extensive consultation with all stakeholders, as well as a proper background check of their new coach before appointing him.
Coach Boadu was shown the exit last Monday after the Phobians drew one-all with arch-rivals, Asante Kotoko, in a third-week fixture at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi last Sunday.
A statement issued by the club last week wished Coach Boadu and his backroom staff the best of luck in their future endeavours while assuring Phobian fans of a new path with a new coach.
Since then, some football experts and coaches have raised concern about how Kotoko and Hearts are impatient with their technical heads.
